Our price match guarantee
At Alarm Expert Australia, we are committed to offering competitive pricing on all our products. If you find a lower price on an identical product from another authorised Australian retailer, we will match that price.
Our price match guarantee applies at the time of purchase and for up to 7 days after your order is placed.
Eligibility criteria
To qualify for a price match, the following conditions must be met:
• The product must be identical (same brand, model number, and specifications) • The competitor must be an authorised Australian retailer with a valid ABN • The competitor’s price must be currently advertised and publicly available online • The product must be in stock and available for immediate purchase at the competitor • The price includes GST and is in Australian dollars • The competitor is not a marketplace seller (eBay, Amazon Marketplace, Gumtree, Facebook Marketplace)
Exclusions
The price match guarantee does not apply to:
• Clearance, liquidation, or closing-down sales • Prices that result from a pricing error • Bundle deals or package discounts • Membership or loyalty program pricing • Trade or wholesale pricing not available to the general public • Products purchased with coupon codes or cashback offers • Refurbished or open-box items • Shipping costs (we match the product price only)
How to claim a price match
To request a price match:
1. Contact our sales team at sales@alarmexpert.com.au or call 1300 843 883 2. Provide the competitor’s product page URL showing the lower price 3. Include the product name, model number, and the competitor’s current price 4. We will verify the price and respond within 1 business day
If approved, we will either adjust your order total (if already placed) or provide a discount code for the matched price. Price matches on existing orders are issued as a partial refund to your original payment method.
Post-purchase price match
If you find a lower price within 7 days of placing your order with us, contact our team with the details. If the price match request meets all eligibility criteria, we will refund the difference to your original payment method within 5 business days.
Post-purchase price matches are limited to one claim per order.
