Installing Yale Assure Lock 2 on a timber door

What you need

Confirm your door prep matches a standard 60mm backset deadbolt cutout.

Fit the exterior assembly through the door and align the spindle with the latch.

Attach the interior mounting plate and secure with the supplied screws.

Insert the batteries and power on the interior assembly.

Test the deadbolt throw manually before enabling auto-lock.

A misaligned strike plate is the most common cause of a lock that jams — adjust it before finishing.

Pair the lock with the Yale Access app via Bluetooth and set up your access codes.

Test remote lock/unlock and auto-lock timing from the app.
